12 Days of Christmas- revised!


Guy Kawasaki recently tweeted about the following: PNC Wealth Management has released its annual price tag for the 364 items mentioned in the “12 Days of Christmas” and this year’s bill adds up to wallet-busting $96,824. The nearly $100,000 tab marks a 10.8 percent jump from last year.

100K!  That’s ridiculous!!!  So, Santa- here is my new version—

On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, a strand of new L E Ds for the Christmas tree.

On the second day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, one box of French Chocolate Truffles from Costco, and a strand of new L E Ds.

On the third day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, one i-Tunes gift card, one box of French Chocolate Truffles from Costco, and a strand of new L E Ds.

On the fourth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, two pairs of ski socks, one i-Tunes gift card, one box of French Chocolate Truffles from Costco, and a strand of new L E Ds.

On the fifth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, one set of martini glasses, two pairs of ski socks, one i-Tunes gift card, one box of French Chocolate Truffles from Costco, and a strand of new L E Ds.

On the sixth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, one bottle of Chopin Vodka, one set of martini glasses, two pairs of ski socks, one i-Tunes gift card, one box of French Chocolate Truffles from Costco, and a strand of new L E Ds.

On the seventh day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, one Epic ski pass, one bottle of Chopin Vodka, one set of martini glasses, two pairs of ski socks, one i-Tunes gift card, one box of French Chocolate Truffles from Costco, and a strand of new L E Ds.

On the eighth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, one set of new snow tires, one Epic ski pass, one bottle of Chopin Vodka, one set of martini glasses, two pairs of ski socks, one i-Tunes gift card, one box of French Chocolate Truffles from Costco, and a strand of new L E Ds.

On the tenth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, a two pack of Ibuprofen, one set of new snow tires, one Epic ski pass, one bottle of Chopin Vodka, one set of martini glasses, two pairs of ski socks, one i-Tunes gift card, one box of French Chocolate Truffles from Costco, and a strand of new L E Ds.

On the eleventh day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, one physical therapy appointment, a two pack of Ibuprofen, one set of new snow tires, one Epic ski pass, one bottle of Chopin Vodka, one set of martini glasses, two pairs of ski socks, one i-Tunes gift card, one box of French Chocolate Truffles from Costco, and a strand of new L E Ds.

On the twelfth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, a day off so that I could return some of the other stuff.  Who needs 3 sets of snow tires!!  And, then consider the opportunities for re-gifting, especially the Truffles.  I simply can’t eat that much chocolate…                     Estimated Total $3,640.00!
